600 yard Nationals day 2 results

I've never met Jason, and the way he shoots I hope I don't, but I want to congratulate him and all that made the trip sounds like it was a blast as always. Great shooting guys and gals.

To say Jason was dominating is an understatement. Incredible shooting and so modest, a great combination.

Hats off to Chris at Hunters Pointe. It was a very well organized and run match. I think he and all of the crew did a great job and deserve to be congratulated as well. It was well worth the 16 hour drive and I’ll head there again if they hold nationals at his facility.

I hope everyone had as much fun as I did, not just shooting but also meeting great people. That’s what it’s all about.

Dave.

Congrats to Jason for 2 years in a row! Agree, humble, and laser focused.
And nice shooting by Glen for HG Group.
Looks like everyone had a great time. I had a different commitment, so missed this match unfortunately.
And congrats to Chris and the Hunter's Point team for a successful match.

Thanks to Chris and his crew, they ran a great match. I enjoyed my time, and it's a great place to go play our game. PS, I'm still camping out by your bean field.

Great job again this year Jason, it's truly amazing to manage your composure and focus for 16 targets and keep them centered like you've done the last 2 nationals. I hope you can make it to vapor trail over labor day, but if not I'm glad you got to see me again! Give yourself a pat on the back, that was a dominate performance once again.....I guess taking home every possible trophy would be your new goal? Congratulations to Glen for keeping him hungry!

Long trip home tomorrow and Tuesday, see everyone in a few weeks.

Tom

Good morning everyone! It looks like another nice day in South Dakota. High of 88 winds WSW 5 to 10 mph!

Today we should see some results as the match progresses. We had a little glitch but I believe it’s taken care of!

Big Congratulations to Jason “The Juggernaut” Wolf for his outstanding shooting yesterday winning LG SCORE, GROUP and Overall LG!

Stay tuned! (pun intended)

Bart
Thanks Bart for the reports. Also, congratulations to Jason and also to you for some great shooting.

I appreciate all the congrats from everyone!

Thanks to Brenda, Chris, Matt, Steve Hoskins and his wife, Mike McBride and all the other people/sponsors that helped put on/support the match. It was ran very well in my opinion.

It was a good weekend for shooting – much better than last year since we could actually talk to the other shooters without shivering :) This weekend like most had some very tough conditions especially Sunday -- believe it or not the mirage was pretty hateful as the day wore on. I had a great time shooting with everyone – I didn’t get to talk with as many folks as much as I’d hoped as I was busy watching my wife shoot but I had a blast nonetheless.

There are a lot of folks that I’ve asked for advice over the years and I truly appreciate it.

Finally, I want to thank @Tom E and @Alex Wheeler for the products they produce – they make some ok stuff ;)

Jason

Stumbled into a good group this weekend!

A big shout out to Hunters Pointe and Chris’s crew. They put on a great match. The facilities are excellent, all the staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was an exceptional Nationals! Targets were posted fairly quickly, the target crew was excellent, firing line was handled friendly and efficiently. On Saturday night they served the best prime rib I’ve ever had. More importantly I believe the shooters had a good time.

Big Congratulations to Jason “The Juggernaut” Wolf for some very impressive shooting in difficult conditions! I gave it my best but there was no stopping the Juggernaut!

I know Kim and I had a great time! We ended the match the same way we started it, back at Big J’s Roadhouse having a great meal with some good friends!

Joined up on this forum just so I could say hello and tell ya'll how much fun I had meeting everyone and helping out over the weekend. I want to say congrats to Jason as well and also a huge thank you to everyone I talked to over the weekend and asked questions to about their equipment and gear. Thank you for answering all my questions. I think I'll have another project in the works soon and hopefully be able to play along with everyone in the future.

I'll second the shout out to Chris and the crew at Hunters Pointe, Extremely well run match by great people. Between the two Big J meals Friday & Sunday then the prime rib Saturday night I left with most of the food in my camper untouched.

Great times!
