I have had a lot of calls and people asking questions about reamers for making a 6 x 47 Lapua chamber. I set up a website that has reamer prints for three reamers and the specified freebore dimensions work out well to keep the junction of the boat tail and bearing surface of the bullets up ahead of the neck and shoulder of the case.
1. 6 x 47 Lapua to shoot bullets in the 85 - 107 gr range,has a .090" freebore).
2. 6 x 47 Lapua to shoot 115 gr bullets,has a .160" freebore)
3. 6.5 x 47 Lapua to shoot 120 - 142 gr bullets,has a .160 freebore)
The reamers on this site were set up for across the course highpower rifle competition and have approximately .005" clearance over a loaded non-neck turned round.
The website is www.6mmHOT.com
