I use 36 gr. Varget, 105 Berger Hybrid, Lapua brass, CCI 450 with a 30” 7.5 twist. My velocity is just over 3000 fps. Just a tick slower than H4350 @39.6 gr. Both are very accurate.Do you have notes on the muzzle velocity that those 107’s shot best at. Thanks .
can a 7.5 twist sabilize the 110 smk ?I use 36 gr. Varget, 105 Berger Hybrid, Lapua brass, CCI 450 with a 30” 7.5 twist. My velocity is just over 3000 fps. Just a tick slower than H4350 @39.6 gr. Both are very accurate.
Not tried the 110 SMT. I did shoot some Barnes 112 gr. And had pretty good results. I found them good at 600. At 1000 I would get a shot or two off call. Sorted the bullets and found a fair amount of variation in weight and BTO. After sorting they did well. I’m to lazy for sorting so when they were all gone I went back to Bergers.can a 7.5 twist sabilize the 110 smk ?
Yes sir. That's just one you're going to have to try. I've shot them in 7.5" and 7" in a Dasher with good results in both barrel twist rates. I've never shot them in my 6X47's but you should get good results because you can run them faster with ease.can a 7.5 twist sabilize the 110 smk ?
