6 ppc vs. 6x45

do these rounds even hold up to one another? i was wondering what you guys thought out there. i know that the 6 ppc is a very accurate round, but so is the 6x45. i am looking for an accurate round for the 100-300 yard range. mostly though in the 100's. i will be shooting out of a 16 inch barrel on an AR plateform. will the 6 x45 run with the 6 ppc at these ranges?

My 6x45 shoots about 100 fps slower than the ppc. I get sub 1/2 moa with the 6x45 and that is with whatever brass I pick up at the range. I would take the ppc if I was in BR competition. But if I was just punching paper or varmints...I would definately go with the 6x45. NO brass prep, just run 223 brass through a 6x45 die) Brass is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY cheaper using 223 necked up. And accuracy, other than BR Comp.) is not far off of the ppc.,at least in my experience. BBL life is excellent. If money and time, brass prep) is NO object...then by all means go
with the 6 ppc.

good Luck

Chris
