6 ppc light primer strikes

I bought a used Hall mfg m55 6ppc.I am getting light primer strikes and failure to fire. I want to try a new firing pin spring but do not know how to take the bolt apart. It appears to have a pin or hex bolt that secures the bolt shroud. Any help on how to take the bolt apart or what the problem might be will be greatly appreciated.

I bought a new mainspring for my Hall M action several years ago. Could not get it apart; took it to my smith. He said this was an excellent action, but disassembly of the bolt and FP is difficult. He was able to replace the spring.

Sounds like you might have a headspace issue, with light primer strikes.

Run a set of go, no go gauges thru that. As a new owner, you may have to attempt to fire form that brass to fit the chamber.
