given a 22 in barrel how fast can a 60 to68 grain bullet be pushed?
i read years ago about test done that drove thes bullets to 3400 fps.can this be done using said barrel and a custom action?

Would you believe 3550 at the top end.

My 68 grain FB Bart's Ultras, typically chronograph around 3380.

Velocity, in and of itself, may not produce the best results. It's an historical statistic, nothing more.

3550 means nothing, except to say, when you record it, OK!, so that's how fast the results were achieved at. The results may, or may not, be desirable.
