6 mm on 6.5 x 47 lapua

I shoot 67 grain bullets at 3700 to 3750fps.
40.0 grains of Varget. Safe in my gun!

Work's very very well!
I have seen 75 V-Max shoot out of one of these and it worked great to!

I have shoot rabbits at 500+ comfortablely.
Don't go any heavier because you lose to much velocity.
Have shot deer as well with this set up with spectacular results.
Great fox gun too!

I will always have a 6x47Lap varmint gun!

One of my favorite rifles. I had heard negative things about the 6x47L but Jon Beanland said his experiences with the caliber were positive and I decided to try it. It is a true one holder at a hundred and a absolute pleasure. Brass is easy to neck down, load and shoot. I made it for a long range yote gun but it fits the bill for a lot of things. I shoot 105 Berger vld hunters out of it.

I have said it before, but will say it again...the guys who were having trouble finding a "tune" for their 6-47L were mostly LR shooters and compairing the 6-47 to their trusty Dashers and BRX's for 600-1K comp. For a "hunting" gun or to shoot steel N stuff at LR, the 6-47 is WONDERFULL!! Mine (1-8 twist with 105 and 108 bergers) is as accurate as can be, but it is on Rem 700 platform in the factory "Varment Synthetic" (H S precision) stock. It has over 1500 rounds and still shoots 1/4" 5 shot groups (if, as they say, I do my Part). LOL Is it on the same level as my $4000. full custom Dasher 1K BR gun? Close, but, NO.
