given a barrel with 1/8 twist what do you think is good for grouldhogs out to 400 yards to say 600 yards?
am going to use my shilen action and a 28 inch barrel.

8 twist will stabilize most anything Sir. I have some 68 grain Bergers that blow SH*T up pretty good and seem to do well at longer ranges. Heck shoot whatever shoots good and there are some cheaper bullets that do great, 75 grain Vmax is good and cheap.....
