6 mm creedmoor info

I just built a 6mm creedmoor, remington 700 action, kriegar m24 8 twist 26 inch with A4S break on it. Fired the first 25 rounds from it for a primer test I thought could be helpful.
I used detached coated bullets, 42 grains of h4350 in all 25 rounds all new 6mm creedmoor brass from hornady. Truned the necks, neck sized because a lot were bent put them in Giraud trimmer, uniformed the flash hole and primer pocket. I didn't aniel because it's the first shot and they come anieled.
I used cci br2, wolf, fgmm, and cci 200 and I just put them in order with the best standard deviation. The cci br2 had 2 points better sd than the wolf, but the wolf edged out the fgmm and the cci 200 were slower and had the worst sd. For the price difference I am going to continue my load with the wolf.
I seated them .15 off the lands first 3 groups were about an inch. The wolf primers were the last group and it shot 5/8 sd 12.
I hear the kriegar can take 40 to 60 rounds to start to settle in this may be evidence of that.
I was within 30 fps with all primers wolf being the hottest, with 42 grains and the dtac I was right at 3012 fps, with two thousand neck tension. I am trying to find the 3150 node next.
I am hoping to get an under 5 sd and under 8 es. Maybe wishful thinking.

I do not believe you will make 3150 with the dtac in that cartridge. I may be wrong and have been before. I do know it is an excellent shooting cartridge with a 105.

I originally built my 6 Creedmoor with the thought of using my 115 DTAC bullets but quickly changed my mind. The Berger 105 Hybrid WILL make 3150+ easily, with little abnormal stress on the brass or rifle, and out perform it down range as well. You may be able to get to 3150 with a DTAC but, even coated, you will be fighting with high pressure and short brass life.
42.5 H4350 gets me 3165 FPS or so with the 105 Hybrid. I know there is room left for more but it isn't much more and I am getting great accuracy. Also, at a real-world 6.6 mil elevation come up for 1000 yards it performs better than I expected.

Crap, I will try and find the 3050 node if that's the case. Thanks for the info. I will go 42.3 42.6 42.9 43.1 and see the results.

I had good success with BR-2s. Primer pockets would always come loose though. Some on first firing. Perhaps a bad batch of hornady brass which is the norm it seams. I switched to the lapua.
You sound like a hand loader. You would have been better servered to have built a 6-6.5x47. Then you could use the smaller rifle primers that tend to be more consistent. Plus brass is cheeper per reload.
Expect to get only 10 reloads max with Hornady brass. While Lapua will yeald 25-35 reloads.

Light Rain...
My 6 Creedmoor is very similar to yours...Bartlein 1-8" vs a Kreiger. 26" M24 contour. I'm running Berger 105s at 3125 with SD around 8fps. Load is 41.5 H 4350 with Rem 9 1/2 primers, jumped 0.010". I did a similar primer test to yours and in my rifle the Rems won by a huge margin. Its the only thing I shoot that likes them. I have had no complaints with the Hornady brass in either the 6 or 6.5 versions. I don't push hard and get 8-10 firings. Accuracy is very, very good....won a 1000 yard F-class relay with a 197/200 with this load.
