6 Major

My reamer has a .070 throat, little too short for Berger 95 vld. I want as much capacity as I can get. I ordered up ptg uni throater kit to stretch it out some.
Mail truck must be stuck in the snow.
It'll work but yeah, maybe a tad short. Not much. The only real down side to a grendel case is the neck is a bit short, making reamer dimensions more critical than a br or ppc. Otherwise, I can't find a fault with it. If you've got a .070, I'm not sure it'd be worth a change for 95's. JMHO.

Pressure testing with 8208 Berger 90g bt using lapua brass. Started at 28.4 30.8 gave 3110, very impressed with accuracy, no seating test yet, wondering if 3200fps is doable with case life, zero pressure so far. Plenty of room still.
Thanks

It was all started by the 6PPC with some wanting more horse power to shoot at long range. Gotta' love the 6mm in any variation or color!
I wonder about a .257 bore though. Just not much out there for custom bullets on the light or heavy end to make it an apples to apples comparison. Same for maybe the 6.5 stuff. I've felt for a long time that a 257 or maybe 264 bullet would be able to beat 6mm stuff, in the right case capacity etc. Lots of variables and a 6ppc nor 6br are what I'd call "broke"

Maybe the 25 Creed will make a run. Problem is few custom bullets and variety.
