6 Dasher- which reamer?

Getting ready for a new 6 Dasher barrel on a Stolle Teddy. This is my first foray into the Dasher. Primary use will be 300-600 benchrest.

My gunsmith has two Dasher reamers: .268 neck and .2704 neck. Both are throated for the 103-108 bullets. This is in a 7.5 twist Kreiger HV.

My new blue box Lapua brass appears to have a neck thickness of .0126 to .0134. It looks like I could go with the .268 neck and turn the case necks to .0115 or so.-OR- use the .2704 reamer and just do a cleanup turn on the necks to .013. The .2704 reamer is supposed to be no turn but it looks like it could be a little tight on some of the cases if I do nothing.

I'm set up to turn the necks from my PPC days but dont really want to unless there is something to gain.

Your thoughts please.

I would use the .2704 reamer and do the clean up turn on them. Do your turning on the virgin 6 br brass almost to the neck shoulder junction then fireform. they form up fine.
