Attached is my reamer. Your should be very similar with a difference of the neck and free-bore mostly.

Re: 6 Dasher reamer print. PIC UPLOADED.

Thanks preacher for the help. So what do you guys think. I know the neck dia is larger than I wanted. Was supposed to be .271. But I will live with that. Is this a typical Dasher in other respects?

Both prints are about the same except for free bore length and neck diameter, one's a no turn. That long free bore length may get you in trouble depending on what bullet you use, weather you jump them or seat them in. Both prints have a tight Free bore diameter for the fat bullets we are getting today ……… I would invest in my own reamer made to what you want, not what somebody has laying around. The firs one is the best one and it sure looks like mine except for the FB. diameter……… jim

Close but no Dasher. Headspace is .010+ longer, besides the other issues noted. You will have trouble from day one if you think that's a Dasher.

If you are referring about the statement above, i'm talking about Terry's print……… And i now looked closer and yes it isn't a Dasher………. jim

It says it is a ubl....only difference in that and a dasher was the ubl had a .274 neck. The freebore is long.

Since I am missing it...what is really different on a dasher print? The headspace length is measured at a different diameter so it makes it different than the above print but it matches my JGS print. The neck junction is shorter than the above print because the neck is larger. I do notice the inside radius is 40 vs the 60.
I would not want that much freebore and I would get my own reamer..and also bump the .200 diameter up to .4714.....but if you are in a rush...
Im just asking?

I wanted a Dasher but this is what it ended up being. I want a .135 fb with .2705 neck dia. This is what it was going to be but we ended up being on different pages. What print should I use for the body of the case. Obviously not my print of the UBL. Or if I call pt&g and say Dasher I will be set?

You can call PTG and tell them what you want or call JGS as they are great to work with too but cost more.

Bump the diameter up at .200 to .4714 also.

Send some cases to Harrell's for a die.

If you call PTG and ask for a dasher you'll end up with a dasher. Your reamer will most likely be small at the base IMO. The best way to get what you want is to get your sizing die and size cases and measure them to see how much YOUR die sizes. Then order a reamer to match. Its kinda like having a custom sizer made.

The prints are different in that the datum line on one is at the .375" line and the other is .350" that's why the length from the base to datum is different. Is your barrel already chambered with the UBR reamer?

here is a Dasher print,,,,the only thing that needs changed is the ammount of freebore,,,,most like .135"-.150"...and the freebore dia is a miss-print,,,that dim. is .2438"....Roger
