Do you have a way to measure your actual chamber length? If you can establish this, the recommendation I have seen is 0.015 clearance.finally got the bolt easily to close after trimming to 1.564
how much more should i trim off of that? .005, .010?
Edit: I didn't mention that I measured my chamber at 1.584 and trimmed the Norma brass to 1.570. I only trimmed 25 pieces so I can see what it does after being fired. Sometimes the neck will get shorter and sometimes it will get longer. Depends on how much the body expands.Do you have a way to measure your actual chamber length? There was an article in the March 11, 2018 Daily Bullitin on how to measure your chamber. http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2018/03/how-to-craft-your-own-chamber-length-gauge/ Or you can buy a Sinclair gage.

seems like .010-.015 is the way to go, i will end up buying the sinclair chamber length gause just to get a more accurate measurement.

The shouldn't be beveled much. All the reamers I've seen cut them pretty square. They get pretty beat up after a while though:Be careful with that “tool”. The front of your chamber is beveled and depending on your neck diameter in relation to the OD of that plug, your measurement can end up a fair bit longer than what you think you’re measuring.
