6 Dasher in 6 PPC LV stock and action?

I have a 6ppc LV rifle and was toying with the idea of making it a switch barrel with a HV 6 dasher barrel. I have a spare bolt i could have opened up for the BR case. Im wondering if the recoil would be too much in the 10.5lb rifle?

I don't think so with the HV barrel. With it most likely being a little nose heavy, I would probably shoot it pinned. You could also add some weight to the ass end of the stock with a heavy butt-plate if the stock is set-up for such a mod.

All it would hold of 7 1/2 lead shot ...Not alot .

JFYI, that is a McMillan Edge Stock. It will have an opening for a weight in the rear.
