I am Really surprised by this, but they must have saw sales of 6br going down now that other vendors have option to remove fireforming.

I need dasher brass- now to wait for this or go with Alpha….

I've wondered about this a ton. Had they offered it back say 3 years ago, I guess I would be on box 14 or 15

Surprise!!!!!!!!!!!! The original 6PPC brass was so soft, shooters used to shoot a yardage at a match, then throw the brass in the trash can. Dave Tooley spearheaded the 30 American project at Federal to make a variation of the Donaldson Wasp in 6mm. Strong brass, shoot most of a season, IIRC. LAPUA got the message, next year high quality 6PPC brass was introduced.
Same thing here, as soon as there is an option; LAPUA brings out a quality case. It's amazing how competition options improve the product.

Yeah, 220 Russian. A warmup, then five five shot matches, then the primer pockets would almost take 209 primers.

I would think that Lapua would get the message, relent and bring out a ready to go 6PPC case.

If they do, I hope they don’t go stupid. In other words, duplicate the 6PPC made from their 220 Russian……Like Alpha did.

Does anybody have any figures for how many of Lapua’s 220 Russian in fact ends up as a 6PPC?

Heard that the Dasher will go SAAMI as well, and I would expect also CIP since Lapua is jumping on the bandwagon. Curious to see which neck size will go on the official print…

Dasher is already CIP. Not that it really matters.
