6 BRDX 105 Scenars

I have good luck with the Scenars in everything I shoot,,about ready to screw the BRDX on and form some brass and work on a load,,I think I will start with the 105 Scenar and RL15,,anybody shoot that combo from a 236 8 twist Kreiger,will be shot at 300,600,800 and 1,000,,

nobody use the Scenars in any of the BR improved cases??

I will be back later with results as I bet on what has worked for me in other calibers in the past on average day in and out the Scenars work for me,,so I ordered a 1000 from powdervalley,

Got some to try in my Krieger 7.5 TW dasher. Been using Berger 108's. Will see how they do.

BRDX's are rare as hen's teeth but should shoot same loads
as a Dasher. Try 33 gr of RL-15.

33.0 gr/ Varget in BRX with CCI 450 jumped 10 thous.

The diameter of the 6mm Scenar bullet is usually much smaller than the other brands, so you actually have the right bore diameter for them. Since they are smaller maybe you could shoot that much RL15, I`d never start there due to too many variables. JB shoots 32 RL15 with a 106 Clinch River, if you want to talk about rare as hens teeth........

I was sent 1000 of the new 6 105 and 7 180 Scenar Ls this winter to try. All I have done so far is sort by bearing surface. Some of the other competitors have PMed me that they really like the new 180s. One guy renamed the 180 Scenars as "180 Screamers". He likes them more than a lot in his SAUM. Lapua says they have tightened the parameters. So far I am very impressed.
I tried the 105s several years ago but never actually lit them up in my dasher at 1000 yards. They showed promise at 600 with 1.5" consistent 5 shot groups. This load, 31.70 gr of 4895, did not shoot well enough at 1000. I had some Spencers humming so I set them aside. I wish I had a .236 barrel to try them in. I will try the in some .237s with different twists and even in a 6 5R as promised.
I intend to try some other things with the 180s.
I got this from the Lapua guys. Jump them big in a slightly faster twist a lot like the hybrids. Some have gotten better results.

I am very interested in your results. Keep us posted. Try to test them at 1000 yards. Some 6.5 shooters are also very happy with them.

my 6.5x47L is very accurate at 1000 with the 123 Scenar and 42.7 H4350 and 39 RL15 hovering around 3,000 fps,,couple of weeks ago I hit 10 eggs in a row at 300 with the 123 H4350 load,,

I cant wait to get the BRDX goin

I cant help with the brdx but i have been shooting Scenars ( 105g) in my dasher for about 2 years out to 1100 yards, i have found the bullets to be very consistant, the only problem i can think of is the lowish bc, while i cant prove it, in the back of my mind when shooting at 1000/1100 and i drop a point just the otherside of the scoring line is," if i had a higher bc bullet would i have just made it" (i shoot F-class ) but it might just be that i need to read the wind better
