6 BR case help

I've been shooting the 6BR cases I've got with the rifle. They were turned and sorted, some even loaded. Shot great, but now, I have a box of new Lapua cases and I have a few questions.

(.273 NK) 10 twist, Heart. Shooting 87-88-90's Berger's w/Varget/ CCI 450m

BUT, what do I need to do with the new brass to get it prepped. Do I need to turn it, chamfer,....

Any help or opinions is greatly welcomed.

IMHO,
Given that .273 nk size, I wouldn't turned the brass, just use an expander die to make sure the necks are all uniform and chamfer the brass. I'd then fireform the brass and then measure the necks of the brass to see the change. It strikes me that if you just turn the brass now (before testing it in your chamber) you may "work" the brass more, plus I seem to recall the brass thickness has changed in Lapua Brass in the past few years and I have no idea how old your previous brass was that may have had thicker walls. Besides, if your new brass will fit into your chamber, I'm no fan of changing the size just for the sake of making it smaller. Just my thoughts.
