6 BR barrel set back.

After 2500 shots with 108 grains bullets and 31 grains of single base powder (never overheated the barrel) seems the accuracy is droping and feels the patch rough in the throat area.

As dont have acess to borescope, the question is how much barrel set back? Cut off the thread or the entire chamber?

I know it depends on several factor, but what you guys do, on average?

If your not doing the work your self it really isn't worth it. Other wise I'd cut off the tendon and start over if that would clean up the fire cracking.
 
Gotta cut off the threads or more on that one. According to the taper you may not can do it. And sure isnt worth $100 if you did the work yourself. Once theyre that far gone there just aint much helping. Sell it as is to a varmint guy!
 
As I live outside USA, barrels are rare as unicorns. I will do the work myself.
