6 br and Varget 14 twist

I have done a search and could not find this specific post.

What is your favorite load in a 14 t 6 BR using Varget , H 4895 or H 4198? [ I have a lot of 68 gr tips ]

I don't think that it is possible to overload a 6BR with Varget or 4895 for that application, since they are a bit slow for 68 grain BULLETS (tips?) The 4198 is more than a bit fast for that combination, and while it could be used in a pinch, I think that it would leave the case somewhat less than optimally full. You should be able to find data on the web for safe starting loads for these powders by looking on the web on the powder manufacturers' sites.

VV N135 is the best powder for light bullets, up 80gr bullets.

Try a "good dose" of IMR 8208XBR!!! I think you will find it works wonders on lighter bullets as well as some of the heavier weights..

Lt-32 has enabled my 14T 6BR shoot nearly as well as my 6PPC, noticeably better than Varget and XBR8208. It also words great in the PPC.

And mine likes stinking X-Terminator.

Not so sure I would want to play with 4198 in the 6 BR. Too much pressure coming on real fast.

You probably would not believe how fast xterminator will push a 55 gr Nosler Ballistic Tip out of a 20 1/2" 6PPC barrel. If you try it with 68s in a 6BR be careful, it may not be as fast as 4198 but it quite a bit more dense. Tread lightly.

Sshhh. I use it in the 6 PPC too. Once I saw how well it worked there I switched my BR over and it was quite happy also.
Yes there's extra room in both cases. Never been much a fan of trickling powder into a case a kernel at a time just to make room for the bullet.

My next step is to find a replacement for 4198 in the 30 BR. A special blend perhaps
