6.5x55 Swedish Mauser by Kimber?

There is a 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser on GB for sale it describes it as being customized by Kimber? Anyone know anything about these the stocks like a RAM-LINE?

That is just exactly what it is. When Kimber of Oregon was in deep financial trouble they were trying to salvage the company by putting 95 Swedish actions with an aftermarket barrel in a Ramline stock. Being that that one is chambered in 6.5x55 I suspect it is a factory Swede barrel, I have seen them in 22/250 and 308 I think that they were available in some other chamberings but I cannot recall what they were. They sold for less than $200 IIRC.

I have seen several of them in 6.5x55, and just a couple in .270. the last one I saw was a little rough or I would have bought it myself. I don't know if they installed aftermarket barrels or not.

I purchased a 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser barrel, by Kimber, that they had cut to 22" and profiled to tapered barrel. With mine, if you look closely you can see it is a military barrel that has been cut down. I used my action. It shoots fine and is quite accurate. Most Swedish barrels that I have seen at the range are very accurate.
