6.5x55 30" Barrel. Thread for Suppressor?

I always enjoyed shooting my M91/30 29", Swiss 1911 31" with the long barrels. I didn't like that it was hard to get a modern scope mounted on them and all the ones I had either had oversize bore or worn out and pitted bore. So decided to take my Tikka T3 30-06 barrel off and spin on a 30" or so long 6.5x55 barrel on it. I have a great shooting factory Tikka T3 6.5x55 but Its just not as fun to shoot as the old long barrel rifles.

My question is if I have a 30" barrel, is it worth getting it threaded for a suppressor or is the 30" too long to make it usable?

It’ll work but you might have to adjust your scope. On one of my guns, the aim point moved 6 inches. Straight down.
