Looking at the drawings it may be possible, But I would do a chamber cast to check neck diameter. But I think the 6.5x47L is a better caliber. Is is feasible to rechamber 6.5X47L to 6.5 CM on a large shank Savage with out cutting the barrel off and re-threading?
I agree. It has 1500 rounds through it and still shoots good but the brass died. I throated it extra long also to shoot the Hornady 14/147 ELDMs. I have decided to go back to Sierra and Bergers. My son can do the work and has the reamer.Looking at the drawings it may be possible, But I would do a chamber cast to check neck diameter. But I think the 6.5x47L is a better caliber.
