6.5x47L tactical barrel?

I have a Bartlien 28 inch 5R HV 8 twist on my switch barrel bench rifle with Stiller action and ST1000F stock,,I love the caliber,

I have a Rem 700 PSS 308 in an AICS1.5 chassis with Atlas spigot mount and bipod,,I would like to rebarrel the PSS action with a Brux LV 8.5 twist and finish at 22-23 inches,,

the 28 inch barrel pushes the 130 VLD at 3025,,if I can get 2800 with the 130 and 23 inch barrel I wont look back,,

anybody shoot the 65 L from shorter barrels?

I ran the 130 VLD's to 2950 in my 23" Brux, but the accuracy is at 2820.

I`d be curious what 41.2 grains H4350 says with 130 Berger VLD`s on the chrono. I delivered a barrel to someone that worked up this load and it shot .3xx" 4 shots at 300 yds.

Just had my 8.5 twist Brux shortened from 26" to 23". My 130gr load (40.0gr H4350 with a BR-4) went from 2,820 ish FPS to about 2,750. I think you can safely get to 2,800. I'm going to add a lilttle powder to try, as 2,800 to 2,850 seems to be the happy spot.
