6.5x47L owners, feed from mag? Fps in 22-23'?

Anyone know what this round will do in a bbl of this length?

I would expect about 100 fps loss vs 26-30" competition guns. Would that be right?

Also, how close would this round be vs. 260 or 6.5x55 in a bbl 22-23" long? Looking to use with all weights, mostly 100-130 but would want to have capability in throat to chamber in heavier bullets and expect to feed through a short action magazine w/o any problem.

Has anyone experience any feeding issues from the magazine? I would expect it to be fine as I have a 7br that is slick, but want to be sure due to shoulder angle, etc.

Looking at Pac-Nor, Lilja, and Broughton barrels, any pros and cons you have had with 3 groove vs others? Thanks.

Hello,

I've a Rem 700 with a PAC-NOR 24" barrel, 3 grooves, 8" twist.
I shoot 139 grs Lapua Scenar at 2700 fps.
No feeding problems with the magasine.

This rifle hold 1/3 MOA at 100 yards, and less than 1/2 MOA at 600 from a bipod...

I'm shooting 120 gr Bergers and 120 gr Nosler BT's as well as 130 Bergers from a BDL set up and I have no problems. Action is a Stiller Predator. Shooting with H-4350.

65BR - I have a shilen 8" twist at 26" in a #5.5 profile, I really like the barrel.

Don't have a chrono but all the bullets I mentioned are shooting very well. In fact this cartridge just shoots well and is easy to tune. The stock is a Manners MCS-T and I have a Jewel HVR trigger with top safety. The bottom metal is by Kiff.

My past experience included 6.5x55, 6.5/308, and 260's, of which the last 2 were more fickle to load, I don't neck turn or weigh cases, which is why I love my 6BR w/Lapua brass.

Now my question is, is the x47 Lapua much easier to get accuracy? Thanks for your input.

Did you install the trigger yourself? Heard someone awhile back saying as you go up on wt. the Jewel is less crisp.

What is yours set to? Did your stock bolt right in or did you or a gunsmith have to do some work to get it right.....thought Stiller is a basic 700 drop in re: stocks.....????
