6.5x47L and 143 gr ELDX, anyone shooting this combination?

Hi All,
have had my 6.5x47L rifle and reloading on the sidelines for quite sometime (last 4 yrs or so, longer since I had purchased any projectiles). My 2 go to loads were 123gr A-max 37.5gr RE15 (2795 fps) and 120gr Pro Hunter 38.5 gr 2209/ Varget (2900 fps), out of a 22" barrel + DPT Suppressor, with a 1-8 twist. Good enough for me to shoot paper and game from rabbits through to Red Deer.
So to the post title, as Hornady seem to have moved on from the A-max, and into ELDM and ELDX projectiles. The heavier 6.5 mm projectiles are very long (143gr, 147gr), and I'm curious if they will even seat in a 6.5x47L, without being pushed way down past the neck of the case? Are there any of you good folks, that are loading these projectiles (in a 6.5x47L), and if yes is it in rifle with a specially lengthened throat? Or are you just seating to, or off the lands, as normal, with a large amount of the projectile down below the neck of the case? I'd also appreciate knowing what powder you are using? I'll take a stab, and say something like 2208/Varget?It may be that I will have to stay with the 120gr, 123gr, maybe 130gr projectiles, and for the distances I shoot it may likely make no difference anyway. But everyone likes to tinker, don't they?
Any knowledge you can share is greatly appreciated.
cheers

Hi Guy , I do not shoot the 143 ELDs, but I do shoot the 140 gr Berger Elite hunter. it is also a very long bullet. I seat the .020 off the lands in my rifle, also a 6.5x47. And the bullet is even with the base of the shoulders. I use RL17, and H4350, the load if vibrated before seating a bullet does not crunch powder. I am getting 2860 FPS from RL17, and 2775 FPS from H4350, both are VERY accurate. And It is a 26" barrel, with a 1:8 twist.

Hi Bob,
thanks for the reply. I might just have to give them a go (143 ELDX), as I bought a partly used box off a guy. Just wasn't sure on having a good portion of the projectile down past the neck of the case. I was and still are happy with the old 123gr Amax. Just getting harder to get any. I have AR2208 (Varget), AR2209 (H4350), and Reloader 15, so will see how I go.
Cheers
