Well, out of Varget for my 6.5X47L, but, I do have some H4350. I checked Berger manual & they do not list H4350 for the 120 gr., but, do for the 130 gr.. Been loading the 123 gr. Lapua and do not want to change.
Has anyone used H4340 for this bullet? PM are welcome, thanks

h4350 in my 6.5 x47 shot fair but certainly was not the powder to be used from what i found . that being said in my barrel and my throat 44.9 /120 gr.berger gave me 3202 vel.. no pressure but i would warn you to start lower and work up to that . T.R.

I shoot 41.0 H4350 using 123 Lapua's and CCI 450 for bugholes in my rifle. Usual warnings apply. No pressure signs in my rifle and could go higher but this is where my rifle bugholes.

Thanks for the info. I am picking up a pound of the powder tomorrow, and though they are unavailable locally, found one full box of the primers in a drawer last night. I will use them after I have run my charge limit tests for various bullets, to do the final tuning with.

I haven't tried H-4350 in the 6.5X47L yet. I do use the 123 Scenars and find it bug holes w/ RL-15 & .005" to .007" jam. Another option should you find some?

My first two 6.5 x 47 barrels L-O-V-E-D H4350 in almost any bullet weight. This one I have now does not like it one little bit. However, I have found that H4350 is better suited to heavier bullets. The 123 / 130 club would be better served by RL-15, Varget and VV N540 in that order.. With 123 class bullets, you have to really push them with H4350 or it will burn dirty enough that if you shoot F-Open with 60 rounds for score + sighters, as you near the end of the match, you might find your score(s) falling down somewhat.. Now having said that, it can be very accurate with the 123's, just remember it is a bit on the dirty side IF you run it slow.. Run it in the pressure range that it needs to be in and H4350 is one of the cleaner burning powders out there..

What's your load?
With the 123gr Hornadys am using 38.5gr of RL15 with good results. Am jamming about 0.005". But, have some of the Scenars to try.

I use varget for 123 SMK and Berger 130. I recently used win 760 with some brass made from 22-250 brass and they did excellent (130's).
