6.5x47L 140 RDF. RL 16 load?

So I looked in other post for loads using 140 gr RDF with RL 16 in 6.5x47L. My barrel is a 26" Krieger 4 groove with a .168 freebore. If any body is running something similar and would like to share there load development please do. Thank you
Philip

Loaded up some ammo from 36gr RL 16 to 38.7gr8 in .3gr increments headed out to load test and will report back. Not a lot of info on this load so I will share what I find.
All ammo loaded .020 of lands 8.5 twist 26" Krieger.

RL16 has a very low density so it will fill up your brass very quickly. In my case I use Berger 140 hybrid and I jam 0.020". I am able to pour 40.6 gn of powder and it is compressed. If you are jumping, you may not be able to go above 40 gn.

I tested it with 140 hybrids and 147 elds. With both I got a powder crunch ant 41.5. 41.0 with the hybrids was running 2790.

Lack of space is the issue before you hit max. Were you using H4350 before?
I am shooting 6.5-47 in long-range BR. My load at this point it 41 grains RL16 behind the 123 SMK. My reamer is short FB and was cut for the 123 gr bullets but the base of the bullet is just touching the powder column.

I have some h4350 but am trying to do load development another type of powder because of how hard it is to get. I just got the gun from the smith and this is the first load development. On this gun.

Go with the H4350 and 140's. It just works. I burned a lot of bbl life trying others. I used IMR 4350 when I couldn't find it.
Varget also works good with 120's.

Varget also works well with the 140 Hybrids, my "go to" powder for the last 3 barrels, current load is 37.0 @.015 off. 2807fps

Finally got around to finishing the load development on this round. I started at 36gr of RL-16 and worked up to 40.2gr in .3 gr increments. All brass was new, primers were Sellior and bellot. Coal was 2.73 which put the bullet .20 of the lands. At 38.7 gr I started experiencing some compression my best group was at 39.9 gr .18 moa average speed 2750 fps es of 4 and a sd of 2.2
