6.5x47 with loooongg freebore

hey guys my 6.5x47l has a freebore length of .250 obviously was designed before I bought it to shoot 140's. I don't want to shoot 140s I have a bunch of 123 scenar I want to work with. I see the majority of 6.5x47l's on here have freebores near half this. I haven't got my comparator yet to measure the lands but for those in the know am I likely going to have to jump these scenars a mile to reach the lands if I wanna keep any bullet in the neck at all?? What would be the longest bullets avail in the 120-130 max size range I really don't wanna shoot more than 130's I have no need for it.

Just try it, you might be surprised. I've had rifles that loved a mile of jump.

Yes try jumping them. Mine likes the 123 Scenar, and the 136 Scenar L. I have good luck with .010 jump. I've never tried anything over .020. I also shoot the 7mm 180 Scenar L at .010. I think that Eric Cortina was shooting these at .050 jump, so it never hurts to try.

Berger 130 VLD
Berger 130 AR hybrid
Berger 130 VLD Hunter
Berger 135 Classic Hunter
Hornady 130 ELD-M

Berger 120 Hollowpoint
Hornady 123 ELD-M

Some of these work well with jumps to .150
