6.5x47 tactical Hammers

This rifle is a hammer for being a tactical build. Not much to tuning and getting it tuned either. That’s why I like the 6.5x47 so well.
I loaded up my best 123 smk load and then decided to try a 130 VLD so I put it into the lands .010 where the 123 smk shot best .005 off.
From past experience I’ve found the 123 and 130 shoot exact same powder charge so that’s what I did with the 130’s 37.6 varget 450m primer both charges shot at 500 yards
I only shot 3 shots because I wanna keep it as new as possible as it’s for sale in the classifieds

James, what twist rate and free bore do you like in this and your other 6.5x47? Just curious. WD

its an 8 twist barrel. The FB and neck dia I have no idea Travis at RBros won’t give out the reamer specs. I know for sure the FB is short as I can touch lands with a 123 SMK and still fit the magazine easily.
All my other 6.5x47’s are 8 twist with a .135 FB and seems to be working well.
I’m fixing to have another chambered up for the General Lee soon.
