6.5x47 or 6x47 lapua

I am having a hard time deciding.

I am setting up a 30BR for short range. Also have a 6mmBR.

I want to set up a long range rifle in the 6-6.5mm area.

I have a brand new 6.5x47 barrel sitting in the corner, and a 6x47 lapua reamer on the way that I could ream out a 6mm barrel to 6x47.

Also one of these will end up a hunting round too.

The balistics seem pretty much similar.

Barrel life in the 6.5 should be better. I've competed and sometimes won with a 6.5X47 in 550 yard matches and it seems to hold it's own against the usual long range calibers. I have not shot nor do I know a whole lot about the 6X47.
