This is my two years since having my accuracy international rebarreld in 6.5x47,,,
First load development was not very good until i was told to use cci 450 primers,
Then the rifle really started to shoot, bug holes just kept coming and coming ;D
Load used was 38.6g of reloader15, cci 450 primer and 123g scennars
four rounds in one hole and one out!!!
Late 2009 i entered into a few comps and had good results,,,
500yrd egg shoot, this was me just before i broke the egg
One shot one scrambled egg
Rifle fitted with a Henry rempole front rest,, Fantastic piece of kit,,,
Then i entered into a fly shoot comp later in 2009 and got my first fly patch at 500yrds
2010 i bought a S&B 12 50x56 pm11
My loads were at 2014fps and all of my hard data matched up to my printed drop charts ready for some long range varminting, this is us at out covered firing point in North Wales,,
Myself on the left and my friend with a 338 lm on the right,,
Then in 2011 i bought some 130g jlk bullets and these out did the 123 scennars,,
JLK 130g bullets are awesome in my rifle, first load results, varget load is second from the bottom???,
This is the load that i decided to use for my first 600yrd comp after i had done a few mods to my rifle to get it to ride the bags better,,
The rest is history as you may know that on that day i broke three UK records ;D at 600 yrds ;D
On the day i knew that one of the groups was very small as with the big S&B i could just make out the bullet holes??, I was told that i had shot a 1.8"group and won a small group patch and Broke the factory class record
But it was not until the next day that i got an email from Vince Bottomley that i was told tat i had broke the agg record for factory class and the agg of 2.8" for light gun,,
I would like to thank MR Mike Norris of Brock and Norris for all of his help
Mike Gregg of reloading international for shipping the JLK bullets
Swampy for making them ;D ;D
And all the lads at the Diggle ranges,,
