6.5x47 Load development question

Before I ran out of 140 vldh bullets I happened to try H4895 and with 35.0 it was at 2795 fps from a 30 inch Krieger and was shooting better than anything I have tried,

Sure glad that worked out! I just got a new tube in 6.5x47, an odd find barrel wise, but am anxious to go break it in.

My 6.5 shoots the Berger 140 LRBT right at 2820 with 39.8 H4350 out of a 30 inch tube. After 1500 rounds I am now contemplating anther new tube in x47.

Don't give up on that barrel yet.

I got my first 6.5x47 barrel cut by a new smith and it spit this out during barrel break-in. I then decided to see how it held and turned the delay and sighter period on my shotmarker, and this turned up. I literally have no load data and no clue where my lands are. I put some 4166 I had laying around behind some 142s I also had laying around. Just extrapolated some 4166 data from BRA and seen how it compared to others I had tested. Neat cartridge! These are shots 9-13 and 22-45 through a brand new barrel. I’m shocked.
