6.5x47 lapua136 scenar-L

Has anyone tried the 136 scenar-L in 6.5x47? What were your results? I have a limited budget, so I don't know if I should invest in some more 140's or go for the 136. Thanks

I'm shooting them at 2900fps and they are shooting pretty good...I only have about 300 rounds down the barrel. I'm happy with them but if I didn't get a deal on them I'd shoot the 140 hybrids...the BC is crazy high and if you can get the speed up they'd be worth it. I haven't played with the 140's to know if there is enough capacity to get the speed up though.

My friend broke his 6.5 x47 in with the 136L and they shot well, 200 was as far as he shot them. Varget was the powder and cci 450 primer.

I tried the 136L in my new 6.5x47 and I'm glad I did. I could not believe how well they grouped at 200 yds using N150. I'm thinking they will do good at 600 yds too. The other thing i like about this bullet is how consistent they measure out . I gave up sorting these. I see a box of 1000 in my future.

BarryB, what load are you using with N150?

I worked my way up to 36.0 grains without any pressure signs, and that's where it grouped the best.

I took a chance on the 136's late last year when Midway had the 1K boxes on sale for $305, or maybe $315. VERY happy I did. They shoot very well in my 6.5 x 47 Lapua.

As previously stated ...... they seem to be very consistent.
