All test w/ Lapua brass-necks turned slightly to .013 thickness\ New unfired brass
All test w/ CCI BR4 primers
All test w/ Reloader 15, same lot )
123 naked Lapua scenars are best of all with a .015 jump @ avg. 3020FPS
123 SMK second with same jump and avg. 2995FPS
130 BergerVLD Very good LR vert. jammed .010 avg. 2980FPS
130 Accubond, awesome hunting round ) jump .025 avg. 2945
All were sub .6minute with both 123 versions averaging in the 3s -- Bergers could proove to be great to with more tweaking.
I will only give starting loads as this is a HIGH Pressure case and RL 15 is Temp/ Density sensitive.
123, both versions ) Started @ 37 grns.
130 Berger Started @ 36 grns.
130 Accubond Started @ 35.5 grns. -- I will say We inded up way above this for a node!
Having been a devoat 308win guy for so long -- I am thinking this guy will maybe change me!!!!!!!!!
Dad is Very recoil sensitive after numerous operations and can stay behind this rig for lots O rounds !!!!!
To me it feels like a 22-250 -- rig is Not braked, weighs in @ app. 18.5lbs. w/ bipod )
I want to test some Lapua factory ammo soon -- Zak Smith says this stuff is Very Good !!!!!!!!!!!!
Low recoil, Long throat life, Very Superior ballistics, to 308win ) whats not to LOVE, Red & Crew
