6.5x47 Lapua testing 4007ssc,4064 and 8208xbr

I recently received a 6.5x47 lapua in a trade and have been working on some loads. Powders I am trying are IMR 4007ssc, IMR 4064 and IMR 8208xbr. there is very little data for this cartridge and even less for these powders but I like to try things that are different from the majority of others.
I done a ladder test with each of the powders. I am no expert but I think I done them the right way if I didn't I am open to suggestions and advice.
I used 123gr Nosler custom competition bullets with the 4007ssc and the 4064 powders and I used 120gr Sierra matchkings with the 8208xbr powder. If I am thinking correctly (which is a rare occurrence, just ask my wife) I should use the 37.9gr of 8202xbr charge due to it being on the same vertical plane as the shots before and after it.
I am considering redoing the 4007ssc and the 4064 and use the sierra bullets.
I am including the pix of the targets for each powder please feel free to give me any suggestions.

this first pic is the 4007ssc

IMR 4007 is almost identical in burn rate to VV N540. You should be able to look on VV's web-site for load data and extrapolate where you might start with the 4007 powder.. Using your 123 Noslers, my guess is that you should be able to start development at 38.0grs and work upwards>> OBVIOUSLY keeping an eye on pressure..

with the 4007ssc powder I started at 39.7grains and worked up .3 grains at a time up to 42.1 grains. the bolt was sticky at 42.1 grains the muzzle velocity was 3060 fps thru my chronograph that is where I stopped with the 4007ssc.
I started the 4064 powder at 36.2 grains and worked up in .3 grain increments up to 38.9 grains with muzzle velocity at 3023 fps.
the 8208xbr I started at 37.3 grains and worked up in .3 grain increments up to 40.0 grains which gave me 3150 fps with a stiff bolt and flattened primers.

Howdy !

When I called Kaltron-Pettibone up about their recommendation(s) for using VV N500-series powders, the rep told me that the
-500 series powders are primarily intended to provide best performance when shooting the heavier/heaviest bullets per each caliber.
They also informed, that their recommendation stemmed principally from testing performed w/ the .308Win.
Since you mentioned use of 6.5mm bullets lighter than 140gr, I'm wondering whether N530 or N540 would serve you well ?
Hmmm....

You listed a fairly generous span of powder choices ( IMHO ). Within that span, if you still wanted to go w/ a -500 series powder;
N530 would fall within your specified burn rate range. If you wanted to try a VV powder that was not a -500, N140 might be a good choice.

FWIW - both I4895 and H4895 are right in the burn rate range you mention.

I'm working w/ New Zealand shooter, on a new 6.5mm wildcat that has case capacity between that of 6.5 X 47L and 6.5 Creedmoor.
He wants to go w/ an ADI powder ( Australian ). ADI's " powder equivalents " chart shows AR2206 and especially AR2206H to be right in the same zone you have mentioned. The NZ shooter intends to use Hornady 120gr & 123gr "A"-Max on live game ( and not heavier 6.5mm bullets ). His new rifle should be range-ready, soon ( no range results to report; as yet... )

Please do keep us informed, on your range results !

thanx 357mag for the advice.
I can find some data using vv n150 and I did a 3 shot group just for curiosity and I will revisit that powder again real soon.
I wanted to do something with the above powders because I have seen people in other forums ask if anyone has tried them in the 6.5x47 but they was not getting any answers and I assume they didn't give them a try so I thought it would be a good time to do some experimenting since I have a new gun to play with.
this was the first time I have done a ladder test and I hope I did it right.
I was hoping to get some feedback on the way I did the test and what other peoples opinions are as to how I should proceed with these three powders.
I am always open to constructive criticism and any insight is always appreciated
