6.5x47 123 Scenars w/ Varget

I ran 37.7g with the 140 Hybrids in my F-open rifle, don't feel like you are pushing the envelope much with that load. Just my opinion, not knowing much about your rig.

when I was shooting 123 Scenars I was using 42.7 H4350 with WSR primers and it was a heck of a load,,I had 16 loads on 100 pieces of brass when I switched to the 130 VLD and 42.2 H4350 which held up better past 600 than the 123 Scenar,,

loads may be hot but if brass will hold a primer with over 20 cycles it shouldnt be dangerous,,

I recently went all the way up to 40gr of varget behind a 123gr amax. And on my last barrel went to 41.5gr. Zero signs of pressure with either barrel. I settled on 39gr with the first barrel and 39.5gr on the second. I think your fine. Enjoy

Thanks everyone. I tried these rounds at 500 yds yesterday. Fair amount of wind but shot two three shot groups. First one was 1-1/8" and the second was 1-1/4". They are shooting well. Think I may try them with H4350 too.
