I am gonna get thumped anyway probably this is just my factory backup gun. I didn't wanna use the 123's but I do know two other guys shooting the factory savage LRPR in 260's and they are shooting the 123's too and they do Ok, but are better shooters than me. I have some 140 hybrids coming I am really hoping they show up soon.dennisinaz said:If you shoot 123s in a match you will get your azz handed to you unless you are that much better than everyone else! The 140 Hybrids are really good (I tested a box for Berger) but they were no more accurate than the 140 VLDs. I mostly shoot 130 Norma Diamond line but I am not shooting 1000 yd competition anymore. I used 140 VLDs for that.
I would use 142 Sierras before I used the 123s. You can do worse than the 139 Lapuas too.

I wanted to find a good all-around bullet that could serve both purposes. Mounting evidence of the A-max as a respectable hunting bullet got me looking into it.
You're not the only one. That's why they developed the Hybrid line: avg. G7 BC of 0.317 & seating-depth tolerant too! Pricier at $.40 each but worth every penny.I had difficulty tuning the 140 Bergers.
