6.5x284 which primers?

This is a new cartridge for me, and I'm wondering if there is a preferred primer for you competition shooters out there. I'm using Lapua brass, N-165 powder and 140 JLK bullets. I've currently used only the Wolf LR primers as they have worked so well for me in several other cartridges. So far, ES numbers arn't what I'd call "steller".:, Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Lloyd

Based on my experience with N165, it is one of those powders that can either work very well or just so so, and E.S. & S.D. numbers can be hard to pin down well with it at times. I can't say I know of anyone shooting N165 in the 6.5 x 284 but a few that shoot N160 in it.

The "bread and butter" well known and well used 6.5 x284 long range target load is around 48 gr of H4350 behind a 139-142 gr bullet and with that loading I have used Fed 210M, CCI BR-2 or Russian Primers,I have shot them all at 1000 yards and they all shot well).

Take a look a the Guns Of The Week articles for weeks #44, #63 and #28 as far as loads and what they shoot, the H4350 load). As far as I know the US F Class team shoots the H4350 load too.
