6.5x284 bushing dies for 284?

Can I use my 6.5x284 dies for 284 if I use the correct bushing for neck sizing or do I need 284 dies?

The neck shoulder junction might be to tight. You could get it reamed if there isn't enough clearance. Remove the depriming rod and bushings, then try to check the neck clearance. Pin gauges would be helpful, however a simple test would be with something more common around the house. The backend of a 5/16" drill bit would be close to a 284 neck. If it doesn't easily clear, then you would need to ream it.
