6.5x 284 loads

If you want to keep barrel life to acceptable levels, try H1000.. Somewhere between 54.5 and 55.5 will get you where you need to go.. Depending on the lot of powder and if your barrel diameter is on the larger side of SAAMI specs, and your freebore, you might be able to get to 56.0 with no pressure issues>> take that one slow..

I will try that one also
Mine tends to do well with 51 grs of h4831sc, with a custom rem 700, but when i shoot the same load in the savage long range hunter it shows serious signs of pressure.

Never could get enough speed out of H1000, but I have noticed that it has a favorable flame temp. Right next to H1000 on the flame temp chart is VV165 just as easy on the barrel, but it makes a 140JLK plenty fast without expanding my primer pockets.

For competitive shooting I settled on a 139 Lapua Scenar, Lapua brass, a CCI primer and H4350 years back. The accuracy, low ES/SD and velocity made it a winner over RL-22 and H4831. It's a good enough load I've never been interested in additional load development with any of the newer "wonder powders". I do keep track of what others do but no stated results show enough improvement to waste barrel life on.
