6.5mm 150-grain Sierra Match King

Been hearing guys using the 6.5 Creedmoor and those 150s and running 8 twist barrels doing well.
I have also heard that the 150.is very satisfactory in many 8 twist barrels and the 147 eld also works well in the 8 twist
I would definitely give them a try

My personal opinion is any bullet that does not shoot well in the creedmoor class with a 1-8 or 7.5 at the limit will not sell well. That is where the current market is. The very heavy 6.5s have a very much smaller market.

That's too bad. The 6.5-284 is my ONLY choice in 6.5. Not because there aren't faster or more accurate ones but because it's just what I prefer. I suppose if you want to sell a cartridge, build the gun and ammo both and make them available. That's what Hornady did. It paid off.
