As a new reloader and long range shooter (PRS style is what interest me) I read this forum as much as I can to pick up tips because the guy who took me under his wing got real busy with work so I’m on my own. I bought a RPR brand new awhile back for $950. The advice given to me was basically don’t worry about a expensive rifle, (because I’m not made of money) spend the money on good glass and I can always upgrade the barrel to a Krieger or whatever else later on. As well as swap specific parts out. So I did just that and got a NF ATACR F1. I read a couple threads on here where guys bash the 6.5 CM. I get it that some guys are joking and quiet a few posts are admittedly hilarious. But some guys legitimately hate it. My question is why? I’m not a fanboy of any company or certain caliber I just got what I could afford so I could get shooting as quick as possible. Thanks in advance for the input.
