I've never used Benchmark but I see the burn rate is close to N133 that I have & use in 6PPC with 68-70 gr. bullets.I had real good luck with Benchmark,,I would have to dig out my notes to remember the exact charges,,to 300 yards it shot as well or better than the 130-140 gr loads,
I plan to try the 8208 & save my Varget for my Dasher.Do you remember the charge weight you used? With the Berger 140 gr hunting bullet 40.0 grs of H4350 shot more than acceptable for a hunting load.IMR8208 with 100gr Nosler Ballistic Tips is ragged dot accurate in mine.
Ill second the 140's with H4350. Its not a barrel burner but it sure is accurate. Several buddies have had the same luck with H4350 and the 140's. I dont think ive tried the 100 grainers though.I plan to try the 8208 & save my Varget for my Dasher.Do you remember the charge weight you used? With the Berger 140 gr hunting bullet 40.0 grs of H4350 shot more than acceptable for a hunting load.
