Got my first load work up and it appears the rifle likes the 139 scenars and varget. I need to run it a little hotter but I think I am very close. I hope Erik comments on this thread. I followed his method with 4 different powders and the best 2 were h4350, and varget. Little better speed out of the Varget, the VV powders were screaming fast but I did actually see some pressure signs---flat primers, not to cratered but looked like light strikes....any way.-->Varget 35gr-ave2717 ES 13, 35.5-ave2747 ES 9, 36-ave 2793 ES 5. I am now planning on going back starting at about 35.7 and go up to 37.0 in .1-.2 gr. increments. with 5 shot groups. I have attached picts. I am hoping that the node is indeed around 36 and the verticle holds like Erik explains.
6.5 x 47 with varget and 139's looks very promising.
