I have a Bartlein 27" 5R 8 twist barrel on my bench rifle , I am loading 42.6 gr of 6.5 Staball and the 147 ELD's match bullets . I am using Peterson Brass SFP. (CCI BR4 Primers) work up slowlyFinally have my Howa 6.5 Creedmoor with a 24" barrel put together. Anyone care to share or point me in the right direction for load info. I have some 6.5 Staball powder and Hornady 123, 140 and 147 grain bullets.
Any help would be appreciated.
The 123's are best served with, a Tad faster burning Powder like, H-4895 or Varget, tho.
H4350 snugs up really nicely in the 6.5 creed and 123s as well. Especially with lapua brass. Almost perfect 100% fill and near 3000 fps in a 24". I know varget works really well too but you lose a good bit of velocity doing that. SD stats are probably excellent though.Hogdon HAS, the Data !

For the, 130 to 147 grain Bullets,.. YUP,.. StaBall !
I'm almost identical, except for a 26" Tikka T3x TAC A1. With Peterson brass, CCI B4 primers, and 147 ELDM's I'm getting great results with 43.4 gr of StaBall. Only downside is that StaBall runs a little "dirty", but a good cleaning every 100-rounds or so makes it a non-issue.I have a Bartlein 27" 5R 8 twist barrel on my bench rifle , I am loading 42.6 gr of 6.5 Staball and the 147 ELD's match bullets .
