6.5 rem mag vs 6.5 x 284??????

I'm in the process of building a rifle for deer, antelope, and sheep hunting. All signs point to a 6.5mm for high sectional density and ballistic coef. I'm new to having a custom gun built, and would like some advice on which round to choose.
Thanks.

6.5x284 has alot of info available on this site. brass is available from a couple of mfgs. not alot of info or brass for the 6.5rem mag. really easy choice, 6.5x284 would be the way to go. check out the 6.5x284 info page. also check out the old guns of the week. there was a guy out of wyoming that had a 7wsm in the old guns of the week that sure looked impressive. good luck cliffe
