6.5 PRC with 4831sc

Has anyone had any success loading 4831sc with a 150 gr nosler acubond. Nosler doesn't have any load data that I can find for 4831sc. I'm also open to any other loads for my 6.5 PRC. Thanks

I don't use any Nosler acubonds, but maybe this might give you some ideas:

I use 4831sc pushing 153.5 Bergers and the load that's worked well in my 6.5 PRC is 53.3 grs with a COAL of 3.102" (yeah, pretty long ) where I get 2,889 fps out of a 26" 8:1 barrel. This pill loaded at a COAL of 2.975" would put pressure right at SAAMI max, maybe that 150 Nosler Acubond at that COAL might be a little under SAAMI max. You might try a load a little lower and work up???

N565 and RL23 has work has worked slightly better. With these Bergers, 57.5 grs of N565 with a COAL of 3.098" works well as does 53.5 gr of RL23 with a COAL of 3.056"

Reloader 23 is magic with the 153 Berger. More speed and less pressure than N555 with awesome accuracy. Of course the price of admission… N165 makes good speed too but I haven’t shot it for accuracy in the PRC but it has been very accurate in other cartridges.
