6.5 partitions in a Grendel

Does anyone have experience with terminal performance with a 100 grain 6.5 partition in a Grendel? Shots will most likely be 200yds and under. I would sure think they would work well but if anyone has real experience I would be interested to hear about it.

First buck (8 pt.) I took with my 6.5 Grendel was using 100 gr. Partition. He spooked and was spinning to run when I shot him high in the back on steep downward angle. Bullet completely penetrated the torso and broke the offside leg. I finished him with a follow up to the neck while he was down. Bullet entered high on the back on the left side, exited low through ribs on right side continuing to break right fore leg. It worked just fine. Shot was about 60 yards. Recovering him out of that ravine took a bit but well worth it.

It was/is really thick where I shot him why I I used a finishing shot. I am sure he would have died if I left him based on what I saw inside chest cavity when I cleaned him but I couldn’t tell that when I shot him. I don’t like having them run off - makes recovery more of a chore.

my daughter took a deer a few years ago with a 120 ballistic tip amd it did fine,so i am not really set on anything. These 100 grain partitions finally became available so i picked up a few boxes.
When you say outstanding are you referring to accuracy or killing performance?
