What COAL and bullet jump do you guys get the best results with useing the 123 A max's or 130 Bergers?

I don't jump! I either seat just touching the lands...or jam!

I run all my A-Max loads "Into" or "jam" with consistent results. The difference being how reliably must I remove a loaded round! ;)

thats interesting. I've shot a-maxes out of my 7 best with a jump. heard mostly similar results with others.

Several times over the years I have had the opportunity to observe high speed videos of powder gases being emitted from the muzzles of rifles PRIOR TO the exit of the bullet and I can't really say for certain whether or not having the bullet jump into the bore would enhance this issue but it does seem likely that this would be the case. But the MAIN REASON I don't believe in 'jumping' the bullet is that IMO if the bullet is seated whereby the ogive is touching the lands all the way around the circumference of the projectile evenly that the chances of having it MORE ALIGNED with the bore is more likely and the same can be stated for 'jamming'!! Also I believe that the degree of 'leade' angle has a lot to do with accuracy because even though jacketed bullets are being fired....the bullets do 'upset' and the less deformation that occurs at upsettage, such as the use of a shallow leade angle....the better! In the final analysis....do what your rifle tells you it likes best....and oft times that requires patience and experimentation! ;D :)

i think g.david tubb starts them out touching then starts moving them back when he's looking for a load. least thats what his video states. I shot 90 grain bergers out of my 243 and they did best jammed slightly. just saying. Probably just depends huh?

got to shoot it today a bit. last 3 rounds looked good. I plan on cleaning it every 5 for a while. only using 35.3 rounds of reloader 15. seems I already got high pressure. round marks around primer pocket????????? might reduce it slightly and take my chrono up next time. not sure what's going on. any suggestions??
