6.5 Grendel versus 6.5XC

Anyone know what the advantages/disadvantages of the XC over the Grendel are?
Powder capacity, OAL, MV/FPS/ME, etc., I've seen mentioned on the forums that the XC will push the 123 Scenar over 3,000 FPS.
Has anyone had any real experience with the XC?
I'm having a bolt gun 6.5 Grendel clone built and am curious about the possible future rechambering of the grendel to xc. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I'm a newby to the real long range sport so please understand, I'm not trying to be smart, just inquisitive.
Thanks in advance, Jim

The XC is a 50 grain H2O case while the Grendl is 35 grains. That's a capacity advantage of 40% in favor of the XC. Not much room for arguement if you're talking long range.

The bolt face for the XC is .473" in diameter - same as the .22-250, 6BR, or .308. The bolt face for the Grendel is smaller - the same as for the 6PPC or 7.62x39.

It is possible to make a .308 bolt face extract a Grendel case - the key is getting an extractor of the correct length. Going the other way may require opening up the bolt face.
